Gas Trading

Natural gas is one of the most commonly-traded commodities out there. Being highly volatile, it presents plenty of opportunities for traders.

Natural gas, primarily composed of methane, is a valuable fossil fuel that forms deep within the Earth’s crust through the decomposition of organic matter over millions of years. This versatile energy source offers various applications and holds significant importance in the global energy landscape.

The most common way that traders take a position on natural gas is with a futures contract, such as the Henry Hub natural gas futures contract on the CME. With a futures contract, traders agree to the delivery of a certain amount of natural gas at a set date in the future for an agreed-upon price.

Gasoline continues to fuel most of the world’s automotive needs. It is made by blending different refined products from the light distillate streams, and the composition can vary depending on local specifications.

We have a range of logistical assets and capabilities which enable us to reliably supply various global grades of gasoline to meet our customer’s requirements.
